What will hiring a lawyer cost?

First, we never charge for initial consultations.

Second, how we work for you and get paid involves several factors, but most methods fall into one of three categories:

Contingent Agreement

We get paid a portion, or percentage, of what you recover.  Costs are in addition to the contingent attorney fees.  If you don't recover anything, you have no obligation to pay us.

Hourly Agreement

We bill you hourly for the work performed.  Costs are in addition to the hourly attorney fees.  We may ask for a retainer up front to cover costs and/or attorney fees.

Hybrid Agreement

A custom blend of Contingency Agreement and Hourly Agreement.  Typically a reduced hourly rate plus a reduced contingency percentage.  Costs are in addition to the fees.
